Local properties
Oil from the seeds is used externally to treat knee pain and dermatitis and is an ingredient for ointments and creams.

Thai Pharmacopoeia properties

• Tasteless seeds reduce fever, asthma, joint pain, swelling, and elevate gastric juice for digestion.
• Ben oil is colorless, odorless, and the smell is used for medical rubbing ointments. It reduces fatigueness, joint pains, fevers, and it nurtures the heart. Also, it is used for cosmetics and perfumes.

Benefits of moringa

  • Vitamin A and Flavonoids in moringa oil are antioxidants that lessen the decaying of skin cells and wrinkle formation.
  • Vitamin A helps boost collagen production and vitamin C allows the body to absorb in collagen well. This makes the skin firm and youthful.
  • Lipid acids such as oleic andlinoleic acids have the important qualities in retaining moisture and nourishing the skin.

Research and articles of moringa

  • Moringa oil has excellent qualities of moisturizing and nourishing the skin, because it is filled with palmitoleic, oleic,linoleic acids, vitamins A and C and unsaturated fatty acid, and antioxidants, which reduces the effects of free radicals, and the damaging and aging of the skin [1].
  • Moringa oil reduces inflammation of theskin from UV sunlight and passes and meets the SPF (sun protection factor) standards of skin protection [2]
  • Moringa oil has been used to treat rheumatoid arthritis in traditional medication since it contains a huge amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids,
  • which reduce inflammations and relieves the pain of arthritis [3]
